Can I use the app when in Flight Mode?
Yes, you can. Just make sure you have downloaded your favourite books first.
Can I use the Indextra app on PC or Mac?
Yes, you can access the web version at indextra.com/library.
General troubleshooting regarding the performance of the app
Step one is to close and relaunch the app. If you’re still experiencing problems, try deleting and reinstalling the app. If it's still not working properly, please contact email@example.com.
How do I bookmark pages I want to access later?
When you have a book open, pop out the Quick Nav to the right of the screen. Then tap the star next to the page or section you want to bookmark. Your bookmarked content will now be automatically added to the list of Favourites in the Your content view.
How do I change my password?
Go to www.indextra.com, go to Login and go to Account.
How do I change my payment details?
Go to www.indextra.com, go to Login, login using the details you registered with, and go to Account.
How many different books do you have?
We currently have roughly 900+ books and other content, and are continuously expanding the library.
How often do you update books with new editions?
We aim to include a new edition as soon as it’s available from our publishing partner. We need to create an app version of each book, so sometimes there is a slight delay between when the book is available in print and when it’s uploaded in the app.
I'm having trouble logging in?
First ensure you are using the correct login details and reset your password if needed, using the Forgot password? link. Note that the maximum number of mobile devices for one user is five, and exceeding that number will stop you from logging in. Then check your subscription status by going to www.indextra.com, go to Login, go to Account. If you are still having trouble, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
My password is not working?

What clinical specialties do you cover?
We cover all clinical specialties but sub-specialties are often grouped together to make the app more intuitive to use. What is the difference between Explore and Search
The Explore view lets you browse and access all available books by clinical specialty. The Search view is where you find the entire library in alphabetical order and where you search the library for specific books, topics and content.
What is the difference between Your content and Last read?
Your content is where your downloaded books and bookmarked Favourites are stored. Last read lets you have several books open at the same time and gives you instant access to the latest books, at the page where you last left them.
Which publishers are included in the library?
We currently partner with: Cambridge University Press, Datapharm, Elsevier, the UK National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), Oxford University Press, Royal Pharmaceutical Society, Wiley, WHO and Zeshan Qureshi Publishing.
Why am I having trouble downloading books?
First make sure you are online and have enough space on your device. If you’re still having trouble, please contact email@example.com and let us know which book(s) you’re having trouble with.
Why can't I access clinical guidelines?
The NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence in the UK) guidelines are only accessible within the UK.
Why can't I find my favourite book?
First check the search filters you’re using (the icon next to the Search text input field). For example you might be looking for a cardiology book but have activated filters for other specialties. If that’s not the problem, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know which book you’re looking for. We are striving to have a complete library but also one without too much overlap, to ensure you don’t get redundant search results. This means that we have books on all clinical specialties, but not books from EVERY different publisher on every topic.
